Welcome to Malford Allotmenteers web site, home of the allotment society for Christian Malford.
Founded in 2010 with a small group of enthusiasts and no land, the society has created a successful parish amenity within Malford Meadow comprising 15 productive plots. With the support of Christian Malford Parish Council and grant funding from Wiltshire Council, a previously little used corner of the meadow has been transformed.
As plot holders recognise, and the pictures on this site show, the allotment garden has rapidly become a prime area of interest with many passing walkers pausing to discuss progress and occasionally receive surplus produce!
We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you to look around our allotments, but we ask that for your visit you are accompanied by a member. The allotments of course are not a play area and, apart from the predicable hazards, there are two reasonably deep water troughs, so we ask that you pay particular attention to children in your care whilst visiting our allotments. Dogs should be kept on a lead, and we would be grateful if you would please clean up after them.
We hope you enjoy this web site and look forward to you visiting our busy little corner of Wiltshire.
The current Malford Allotmenteers committee comprises the following:
Chair – Vacancy Secretary – Stephen Hudson Treasurer – Mike Harlowe
